Personal Invitation

Personal Invitation letter for visitor to Nigeria should written by a Nigerian in Nigeria or a person with Nigerian Residence Permit who currently resides in Nigeria. The letter must include the following: 

• Full name and Passport number of the invitee,
• Purpose and duration of visit,
• Acceptance of Immigration Responsibilities,
• Full address of the inviter,
• Attached Passport or National ID (GMPC) of Inviter.

The letter must be addressed to the Comptroller General of Immigration (CGI) of Nigeria as indicated in the sample. If you are applying through the Nigerian Embassy abroad, submit a second copy of the letter addressed to the Nigerian Ambassador.
